Between the two countries of India and Nepal, there is a singular understanding, whereby they have both concurred that the occupants from one state could travel to the other without charge, and vice versa.
This opens the door for Indian inhabitants to climb the majestic Mount Everest. The only requirement when crossing borders is to provide a type of identification, and of course, your climbing gear! We recommend a bit of practice as well before attempting this daunting peak.
