[post_page_title]An interesting choice of sport[/post_page_title]
Not into cricket? No problem! The villagers of a little community in Anandapally partake in an annual sport affectionately known as bull surfing. Yes, read that again! Just as the name suggests, two bulls tethered to a device are roped in to work a section of agricultural land (rice fields in this case).

The land – with the same circumference as an American football field – is covered in water that reaches ankle length. The surfers are gliding on the water employing a wooden “surfboard” and then cling onto the harness of the bulls or, in some cases, even their tails. Future Olympic sport? We think not.
