It’s not as if Twilight is the only movie to do something like this. Basically, it’s learned in the movies that Edward has icy cold skin. However, the problem comes later on in the story when we see Edward in frigid conditions.

You see, you can end up seeing his breath during these scenes. The problem is if Edward has skin that is cold as ice, why were we able to see his breath in cold conditions? It’s not really a plot hole, but just a small detail that went overlooked.
