Bella’s true obsession with her relationship with Edward is what you truly start to notice when you look back at these films. In addition to shutting her father out a lot of the time, she also begins to distance herself from a lot of the friends she made early on in the story.
Once again, the reason is because of her love for Edward. Not to insinuate that it’s not good to have that much love for someone, but it’s always wise to make time for the other people important in life.
