In any form of media, when two characters that are in a romantic storyline kiss for the first time, it’s a big moment. The problem with Bella and Edward is when their first kiss occurred, it was literally a nightmare. Let’s count the many reasons why that was the case.
One, because before it even happened, Edward scared her by entering her through her window. Two, he confessed to watching her sleep. Three, he tells her to be very still. Four, and lastly, he jumps back after it happens and yelps.
