Given the immense focus that the Twilight movies placed on Bella and her relationships, it can often be forgotten the love angle that was present with Esme and Carlisle. Once she was saved by Carlisle from jumping off of a cliff, Esme is turned into his wife (and also a vampire).
The odd part comes in the fact that the couple really didn’t experience the same problems that Bella and Edward faced. Everyone’s different, sure, but it’s just weird looking back at it.
