It’s worth pointing out that since the days of the Twilight franchise, CGI and computer technology, in general, have improved quite a bit. Still, even at the time when Renesmee was growing at an abnormally fast rate (as she had special powers), CGI was still pretty impressive in the world of film.
What we’re getting at is the CGI effects of showing Renesmee looking older than the average child would look still haunt hardcore fans to this day. Just take a look for yourself.
