We know that all fans of Team Jacob just let out a collective scream right there. We’re not judging anyone who wanted Bella to end up with Jacob, all we’re pointing out is the fact that Jacob was not as flawless as it initially seemed he was portrayed to be.
Though throughout much of the films, he was seen as the typical nice guy, he had some temper issues of his own. In specific, anytime that Bella would tell him she was staying loyal to Edward. He also pretty much guilted Bella into kissing him in Eclipse, telling her he was going to die in the fight.
