It wasn’t really love at first sight for Bella and Edward, despite everyone probably wanting to believe it was that way. In reality, when you re-watch the first conversation that they ever had with one another, you notice how downright awkward it is.
As a matter of fact, even for hardcore fans, it can be difficult to go back and watch it. It’s loaded with odd eye contact, heavy breathing, and just a bunch of random long pauses. Things would get better between the two of them, though.
