Let’s just say that the kids of the Duggar family had some strict dress codes that they had to adhere to. Speaking for the girls, specifically, they weren’t allowed to wear jeans.
Instead, they were raised to dress more formally (think dresses and skirts). Once the girls entered adulthood, obviously, they could wear jeans at their own will. When growing up, however, it was something that was a no-go. Some people would go mad if they couldn’t wear jeans.
