If you’ve watched the Duggar family over the years, then you know of their rather strict rules and beliefs. One of them had to do with dancing. In the actual household, it was never an act that was done very often.
The reason for this is that the act of dancing promotes physical contact with boys and girls. For the Duggar family, it was best to save that type of stuff after marriage. Then again, there was no technical rule against dancing before that time (it was simply frowned upon).
