No matter how you slice it, 19 children is a lot to deal with. Most will agree that 19 kids is simply too much for one mom and dad to handle. For this family, they knew that better than most.
Due to this, many of the other children would help out in raising some of the younger ones. As a matter of fact, the Duggar’s implemented a system that would allow the older children to be responsible for certain younger siblings. That’s certainly a good way to go about it.
