It’s just not likely that you’d ever see a house with 20 different bedrooms. Insanely huge mansions may have that much, but the Duggar house never had that many. In fact, the kids would often be grouped into four.

That is that four kids would live in each bedroom (with the boys in some rooms and the girls in other rooms). There would be no privacy in those rooms, but at least there would never be a dull moment. Not a bad tradeoff.
