To have all the children he had, Jim had to hold down a steady income. Given he’s best known for his real estate business, it’s fair to say that he had a good handle at that most of the time.
But, outside of his real estate business, Jim was also in the Arkansas House of Representatives for three full years. At one point, he even decided to run for senate (though he didn’t end up winning). Eventually, he went back to his real estate business.
