When you think about all the religious beliefs that the Duggar family has, it makes sense that they did not believe in birth control.
Historians of the family will remember, however, that Jim and Michelle did end up using birth control at the beginning of their marriage with the intention of only having a few kids. Yet, as they came to believe that birth control could cause miscarriages, they came to not believe in the pill altogether.
