It may take some time, but if you’ve been playing with makeup long enough, you know exactly what works for you, and what doesn’t. A foundation that is matte or sheer? An eyeliner on pencil or gel form? A blush that’s powdered or creamy?
The same applies for shades of lipstick. When you find the shade that’s perfect for you, you tend to be loyal to it, which is how you end up with 10 lipsticks that look almost exactly the same. “Almost” being the key word here.
