From peanut butter to jam to Nutella, many of you probably have your go-to spreads that you love to consume. Well, Aussies have there’s too, and many of them will go with Vegemite. Now, this is either going to gross you out or intrigue you.
Vegemite is made from yeast extract. Hold on, that’s not the crazy part. It’s actually a byproduct of brewing beer and is what you would find at the bottom of the barrel. Sounds amazing, right? It may taste better than you think.
