Sometimes, the reference work in roasts can be a little lazy. After all, it’s easy to make a cheap comparison between a person and another, very unflattering famous figure. However, reddit user CRuins decided to really put some work in, and came out with a roast that’s the perfect mix of hilarity, simplicity, and wittiness.
In drawing a comparison between this person’s glasses and those of legendary comedian Groucho Marx, CRuins has managed to roast someone while paying tribute to an important cultural figure. Now that’s skill.
