Realistically, if there was ever a real-world scenario in which ordinary people would get superpowers, their mileage would vary considerably. They couldn’t possibly be all Superman and Wonder Woman, and not everyone would get super strength, flight, and invulnerability.
In fact, we wager most of them would be a little… odd, such as the power to hear one year into the future. Curious, but what would you do if everything suddenly went completely silent? The implications – whether to you personally or the world in general – could not possibly be good.
