This story brings to mind Invasion of the Body Snatchers, the classic 1950s horror movie that was remade several times in different decades. Supposing that you “saw” your best friend wasn’t quite like everyone else, what would you do?
Would you say something or just let it slide, not wanting to know the truth and – quite probably – end your friendship? It’s a difficult question, especially since in this scenario the best friend in question might not be alive at all. But if he looked like him, and acted like him, why not let him just be him?
